Our dogs act like they own us, not the other way around, and here’s the thing: they’re right. If you don’t think they’re right, I’m sorry to say, but you are totally lying to yourself. It’s okay, we all try to do it from time to time. We just also know that we’re wrong.

On Sunday, May 4th, one Pit Bull showed us exactly what happens to his mom when she doesn’t have his dinner ready on time. He considers it to be very offensive and his annoyance is very obvious:

Kairo and Willow both get a little hangry, but Kairo is definitely a little bit more-so than his sister. Which, like, good for him. Someone needs to speak up!

Kairo used to be an only child, which really explains his bratty behavior. He did have a blind orange cat brother, but as far as dog goes, it was just him. He got used to being able to get way with whatever he wanted, and he’s still going strong. Now, he makes sure Willow gets what she wants, too.

What do they want? Dinner! When do they want it? 6pm sharp!

Unfortunately, on this day, mom was a few minutes late. Kairo has gotten really good at the Death Stare, so he did a really good job of making her feel really guilty. She fewlt bad even though she knows he’s not starving. He even gets to go to Starbucks for pup cups often, where he then complains about the lines:

Kairo has a very extensive collection of jammies, and he wears them out often. He gets chilly when he’s out and about, which is crazy, because he literally used to live on the streets. There were no jammies when he was feral, and yet he can’t live without them!

Street dogs can become incredible dogs that bring joy wherever they go; they can be excellent family companions, they may even get along with other pets. There is nothing a street dog can’t do with enough love and patience.

Don’t expect them to have that kind of patience for others, however. Dinner is at 6pm or else!
