This culinary icon loves his cats!

Celebrity chef Bobby Flay is a household name thanks to his culinary creations, multiple TV shows, string of restaurants, and, of course, his love of cats. The famed foodie even has his own brand of cat food, Made by Nacho, named after his beloved Maine Coon who passed away in 2023.
Flay recently spoke of a well-known pet provider on the set of his show Bobby’s Triple Threat, and seemed very focused on his feline friends at home between takes.
The Food Network star was having fun while on set, joking around during filming and referencing his kitties, Canelo and Stella. Speaking on the benefits of auto shipping products, Flay noted he’s always well-stocked on his feline’s favorites. “I just wanna make sure my cats get fed,” the chef explained.
The Grillin’ & Chillin’ star gave a shout out to his two tabbies and promised they’d get their favorite fare for dinner.
“Hi Canelo! Hi Stella!” Flay called into the camera. “I’ll be home to feed you soon so don’t worry. I know… fish. Yellowtail? You got it.”
Fans fell in love with Flay’s affection for his fur babies and were quick to express their feelings.
“Hi Bobby, you are fantastic!,” a follower raved.
“You gotta love a man that likes cats. He’s very comfortable with himself,” one remarked.
“Love a good cat dad … this is awesome!” another commented.
“He’s got his priorities straight! Lol!” a fan posted.
Flay recently paid tribute to Nacho by partnering with the Paws Crossing Animal Shelter in New York, and declared April 5 National Nacho Flay Day. The cat food brand owner offered 30% off of all products on this special day in honor of Nacho.
“If Nacho were here, he’d say something like ‘It’s about time they named a holiday after me… though I was expecting a week,’” the caption read on the Made By Nacho Instagram account.
If there’s a Cat Daddy of the Year Award, it should go to Flay!
